If given the option between my new 325i and my old one, ie, the garage was on fire, I'd always choose the e30, no question. You can tell we all love these cars here, especially the pointing an any e30 and yelling "Hey! An E30!!" like we just spotted an extinct animal.

Yeah, especially if it's an e30 that even resembles "nice"... thos are always so nice to see. You'll often run across the buckets being driven by old men, but when you see one that looks clean and well taken care of, it always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Same goes for when I see e34s... 9/10 times they look like rusted stock buckets... but when you do see the one nice one, it makes it all worth it.

my girlfriend reminded me about this one today

you know you drive an e30 when you have to stop off at every gas station to wipe down your windshield or tailgate the car in front of you to get enough afterspray so you can wipe your windshield cause your washer pump is broken.

Haha, I'm guilty of this one, not because the pump doesn't work, but because the lines are not hooked up

how about...

you have no room in you garage because you have so many "extra" parts just in case that you can't park your wife's car inside.

You have duplicate and triplcate of parts, but you have no interest in selling anything.

you've either done or thought of doing an engine conversion

you wish the made BBS R001 in 16in or 17 that didn't cost more than your car

You wish the made m parallel in 4 bolt

you have blacked out window trim, windshield trim

you have tried making your big bumpers smaller

you have tried to make your car as "euro" as possible.

You know what a Baur car is

You know exactly what changes were made from year to year by BMW.

You got excited becasue your wife got you a E30 racing calendar for you for Christmas

You haven't winter driven you car since 1988.

You were drifing before it became the in thing.

Oh man, I've had the car about a year and so many of these are true! Allow me to add one:

You avoid washing your car in the winter because the doors will never shut again.

You know you drive an e30 when your driving in another vehicle and you reach for the clutch pedal and shifter to shift gears, but there's nothing there
