LOL, my left side instrument cluster lights need a light tap to make them come on.

There are two blubs, more than likely the left side bulb is loose/dirty... remove bulb lift the metal tab in the cluster a bit, clean the metal contacts (bulb and cluster) put bulb back in... Done.

My fuel gauge, tach, temp gauge and economy gauge all dance. Guess who's installing a new SI board this weekend.... (and then diagraming the board and rebuilding it for a spare)

When you drive from Port Credit to Streetsville in the back seat of your mom's e30 slamming the fuel pump with a big screw driver to keep it running long enough to get it home (With my Dad in the support vehicle behind us.... in his e30.)
