Thats a very original and well executed idea... one that I might borrow! (with different art of course)

Even more impressive... it must have taken quite some time and effort. I guess he stenciled it on then, and painted it in? That must have been a long task...
Is the apline uncaoted then? Just paint, then black acrylic, and no clear coat at all? What kind of finish does it have, more of a matte texture?
I want one... haha.

You serious? That's hilarious... how many does he have? Where does he put them, just all over the place?

Pretty much correct... He painted the entire thing freehand, though the two side panels were drawn in line-form first, then inked afterwards (like a comic book). He masked the character lines at the edges of the raised centre section and the bottoms of the side panels. He also practiced the signature a few times on various different surfaces before painting the final version.
The hood was resprayed as though it were going on a car, so it has a clearcoat. I also took the opportunity to pop in a brand new roundel that I had lying around, so the "new hood" look is complete.

Cool man... I guess the paint bonds to the clear without any problems? Its the black a matte or semi-gloss?
When are going to start selling these?.....

Truly a great idea and it looks stunning! I bet that automotive non-enthusiasts will agree as well.
Great fit on that wall too!
