BMW Art Car -- In my living room
Hey guys, though I'd post some pics of a recently-completed project. I had the Robert Rauschenberg 635CSi Art Car hood reproduced (albeit on an E30 hood) and I mounted it in my living room:

The hood was from that mint 325i that Euroguy was parting a few months ago. I had it resprayed with a fresh Alpine White base. My father is a retired graphic designer and he agreed to reproduce Rauschenberg's design. I provided him with detailed photographs of the original E24 hood and he modified the proportions slightly to work with the E30 piece. All told, he probably spent about two weeks planning and painting.
So basically, the materials cost was low but it's difficult to put a price on my dad's time!
