I'm new to this car and the second day I got it I tracked it at TMP. Noticed that the power steering was rubbing against the lower rad hose.
Put a new rad hose in and took it to Mosport a few weeks later. In one of my rarer planning ahead moments I kept the old hose in the back of the car. Wouldn't you know I ate through another hose.
Took the car home and put on a shorter PS belt. A few things always seemed to be "off". Replaced the elec. fan with a stock clutch fan and the bottom of the fan blades were hitting the shrowd. My oil pan seemed to be awfully close to my power steering rack.
.... then I looked at my motor mounts.
Notice in this picture the socket (top nut) and the bottom bolt. They are supposed to be aligned with each other. Once the engine got jacked up the top bolt with plate literally "slid" out of the mount.
The motor had sagged so much when I took the bolts off and jacked the engine up I needed extra lift on that side thus the Camaro jack on extra ramp. LOL.
Is the mount bad or what? Yes, thats the half that was left.
