ya why is that hard to believe? They had a documentary on OLN or something about some dudes that went to the coldest place in the world where people actually live. Its a tiny village in Russia, the coldest it was ever measured was -75 celsius, or something like that.

Water freezes almost instantly if its exposed for a short period to the cold. Gas freezes, everything does.. Hell remember when there was a terrible winter storm in Winnipeg? Airplane fuel was freezing it was like -50.

I just looked up freezing point of vodka, if it's 80 proof vodka will freeze around -27 celsius, I also been to some very cold places, I went cross country skiing one year on a plateau on top of a mountain, without wind chill factored in it was about -40 celsius, with the wind chill it was more like -65 celsius, this was in Quebec.

Thanks for sharing, I love seeing such unique places.

Anyone remember that site with pictures of the towns near chernobyl, that someone visited many years after?

I would love tosee that site again.
