Just a heads up to those in Transport

There have been raids going on in regards to the safety of Trucks and Trailers. Two transport companies I work with (I can't mention the names) got raided and as a result have to rent almost 15 trucks and trailers until they either purchase new or fix there old equipment.

Drive safe.

you shouldn't mention names, it can be used against you as slander.

Slander:
Quote:
In law, defamation (also called calumny, libel, slander, and vilification) is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government or nation a negative image. Slander refers to a malicious, false, and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images.
Raided? you make it sound like a drug bust, more like an inspection. For their own safety, and the safety of the public.

I don't see any why the need to worry.....remember your own words, when it comes to safety price doesn't matter? I guess some ppl don't follow the same motto.

I'd rather follow a truck knowing it's safe rather than getting something in the windshield. I'm in support for safe vehicles.

Yes I remember my own words.

definition of raid:

Quote:
search without warning, make a sudden surprise attack on
so raid is an appropriate term to be used.
