manual swap

so i have a 96 328i and i know i need the zf trans the same out of an m3 anyways my question is how much should this swap cost, also anyone on the west coast here know of a good shop where to get this done? right now i have a guy quoting me 2500-3000 for the swap, is it worth all the headache??? thanks guys btw this is my first auto car and i miss the standard lol any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, also if someone is selling a complete swap i would be very interested in that as well.

sorry cant help out with the shop, but about the swap, hell yeah it is worth the costs!!

but i would only do it myself to keep the costs down, and on a VERY clean car that you are going to keep..........
