heater fan speed

my heater fan speed only blows air on the low speed setting. i have the control unit where its all buttons and no knobs. i was wondering what part commonly fails to cause this.

there's a capacitor inside that goes bad, and the unit seems to have a mind of it's own. It's a fairly easy DIY if you're really good with a soldering iron. There are write ups on this posted on the net... I've done three or four myself so far.
