windsheild washer fluid sensor

well, looks like mine is shot (keeps reading 'FLUID WASHER LOW" when infact its full to the rim. Anyways my question is can these sensors be repaired or cleaned to function again?

I ahad the same problem... and then i found out that my sensor was put in upside down, so the plastic piece was always floating upwards... make sure that yours is facing down and not up
