nope. no cottages. Girlfriend's family has two near apsley. My extended family has cottages in nice places, my favourite one is off lake joseph (right by bruce's GF's cottage).

Quite a few max members have cottages up there.

Mine is up on Little Boshkung lake, in Carnarvon (Haliburton)

and yours?
My cottage is in Sarasota, Florida. 2 minute walk to our own private beach, and 10 minute bike ride to Siesta Key. Right on the gulf of mexico, 25+ degrees and sunny every day of the year!

We have an extra lot for sale if anyone is interested in buying some florida "cottage" real estate and building a brand new bungalow on it.

Or you can buy our renovated 3 bedroom bungalow if anyone's seriously interested. Its not currently for sale, but with the right offer, i think my family would sell, and build on the other lot.

its a 2.5 hour plane ride right into sarasota airport, and I made the drive in 20 hours from Toronto.

Northern Ontario is beautiful but I think I'll retire in florida.

I live near there (Lakefield). I go to Apsley all the time to ride (usually go to Tuckers and start from there).

^ Dude I think I been to that one lake field. No sand in the lake. Very nice. I think once you get off the road, it takes forever to find a cotage if you are not close to the road.

I agree with Terry's opinion, but some cotages would not get me bored. lol It depends where it is. From what I have seen it's all about money. YOu pay less you get shity one, you may more you get better.

You don't buy a cottage in a shitty area... what the hell would be the point

ya prices are nuts there now! we just built a house on the land so hopefully it'll make for a good sale in 15 - 20 years, the location can't be beat
