$ isn't a problem, thats awesome then, you would be getting a MUCH better education down there in Boston, but you would be spending WAY MORE $ on schooling, but hey, dentists make a shitload of $ and you would make all that $ back in no time..
M5's for birthday presents man!! go 4 it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, man... And from what I've heard, you won't have too much time to party. Books, books and more books. But it's worth it!

Boston is full of old money.. you practically trip over hundred dollar bills while walking down the streets.. aslo, think of the other schools close to there.. HArvard, MIT, etc..

They accept a lot of people from canada because it is a private school. Other schools in the states like Buffalo, or Detroit are state sponsored schools, and they only accept like 10 people out of state (meaning other states and international students). Boston and NYU are private schools, they can accept who ever they want. Plus they are the most expensive, which is why they are the best, they have the most funding from tuition and can offer more programs.

5 friends huh? So where did they go for undergrad?

2 U of T and 3 at Mac. I have many friends that went to Uof T Mac and Western.

Actually my sister is graduating from Mac this year with a B.SC in Physics & Bio major and she's applying to medical school. Hopefully she'll get into a good school somewhere here instead of getting into debt by going across the boarder.

Again good luck.

Its tough to get in here, I got my interview at U of T a couple of days ago for dental school here. If she doesnt get in tell her not to get down on herself. If she goes to the states the schools can offer a better education, because of more funding from tuition. You get what you pay for.........

I'm pretty sure she'll get in anywhere. She's got crazy good marks. She's the brainer in the family. This last year as an undergrad the Dean of the Faculty of Science asked her if she was interested in being a T.A. So at 21 she's got teaching, lecture and research experience as well as awsome marks. Don't know where she gets it........ must be that damn vegitarian food she's eats!!!
