I've gone to future shop to try out a few sub/amp combos, and the price of that insignia combo caught my eye. i tried it out and like Trouble65 says, for easy listening with a little added bass their fine. But if you like low bass and will be pumping it up frequently stay far far away!

I have a shit $30 Bazooka I got from E-bay, it does the job for supplementing the stock speakers, and can easily overpower them. The differences between a shit sub and a good sub get greater when the volume goes up...so if you listen at a low to moderate level, and still using your stock speakers, a shit subwoofer will do fine.

Well, considering the Insignia TV's are just garbage, I would probably stay away from their speakers. It is a discount brand that really cuts corners when it comes to quality and customer support.

Don't buy this crap!

PM me if you want some nice brand new higher end Audio for similar prices! I bought a bunch of stuff I thought i was going to use for one of my cars, and never got around to installing. The equipment just sits in my closet and collects dust now.

If interested, PM is key
