Car Shipping from BC to Ontario?

I need to ship a car from BC to Ontario.

Any body have experience shipping a car (Running) from Vancouver BC, to Toronto Ontario?
Can you recommend any site or services?

I already looked at this one.

I was thinking of using Searail, but they are a bit expensive.

when do you need it? Just have someone drive it down.

(My girlfriend's brother goes to UBC, and he now always drives back, but in first year he had it shipped on the train, he said it cost like 900$)

about a $800 bucks from BC to Toronto, call L Hansens Forwarding www.lhf.com or J Simons Transportation 416-754-2235.

The car is for restoration, so I wouldn't want to stress it out with a cross country journey.
Itís roadworthy, and very low mileage, but I donít want to risk it, or but someone in jeopardy of being stranded etc.

If the car was newer, Iíd offer to buy a one way ticket, and cash to drive it back.

Searail has gotten a bit more expensive since the $800.00. Iíve heard good reviews on them though.

Spoose, did you use one of those services you recommended? Good bad????

I used both and they are great. L Hansens does a lot of shipping for BMW Canada and other manufacturers but they are a little more expensive. J Simons handles a lot of dealer transport across the country. They have shipped Porsches, BMW, Benz, etc for me.

Searail is terrible
my Dad's 05 G35 had a broken front bumper which was a hassle to get the front bumper repaired. My E36 that I shipped from Toronto to Calgary had slight scratches on the rear bumper that weren't there before I bought the car. We used Hansens after, and since than, NO problems! great shipping company.

J. Simons hands down.. (keep in mind the only things allowed to be in the vehicle are the keys and the ownership)
