My yellow battery light comes on when the car is cold and turns off after awhile. I changed the battery and I still have the same problem. The car runs perfectly. Now I'm thinking it may be the alternator, how do I check?
I had the same problem with my BMW the battery light would turn on for awhile then go away..I am 100% sure that you would need to change ur alternator. I did and it never came back on again...I would take it to RMP and have Rocco take a look at it...
^werd, Yellow usually means the alternator is on its way out, RMP has OEM Bosch reman units at a great price. Most other shops will sell a rebuilt unit w/random internals and a Bosch case...be carefull

Or some shops will tell you that other shops do that, when they in themselves do it and lie about it.
