I would agree partially; but once you drive a Tundra you'll understand why Toyota owns the truck segment (especially from 07 and up). That 5.8L engine is absolutely unreal. Its a beast. The Tundra is better appointed with options, has greater resale, and arguably gets better gas mileage, tows, and drives even better. It was truck of the year for 08 and will be again, for 09. Trust me, lawl I own an 02 F150, which has been bulletproof, but I'd get a Tundra if I could.

I suggest a good compass/patriot/caliber repair book and some tools.

I have all of the warranty service records from my 740i and its like a ****ing novel for a car that cost as much as 4 Compasses. So expensive, cheap, foreign or domestic it can be hit and miss.
IMHO Chrysler has been making some great cars since Daimler stepped in. With them gone, we'll see.
My 20 year old Nissan on the other hand has been taking beatings like a champ. It has never let me down. 2 weeks ago the car finally was sidelined - clutch slave & booster died after I installed a triple carbon clutch almost a year ago. I wasn't surprised.
