Post pics, I love any of these old school 5cyl Audis, sound sooo unique with a loud exhaust, I'd rock one for winter if I could find a decent one...

Well not sure who boosted is, SpoolinS6 had one identical to the one i have now.

Craz azn, This car was a great find, it is higher milage, but was very well maintained. Within the last 10,000kms it got a new cat back exhaust from audi, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, spark plugs, wires, rotor cap. Extra set of rims (Audi Speedlines) interior is very clean aswell the exterior. Ill post pics when I get a chance. So far im loving the heated seats and the heat this car puts out. My e36 has got to be the shitiest for keeping me warm!

Nice, always liked those. Too bad they are, fairly, unreliable.

Do you have any reason for going with the Audi?

Say, why not an e30 iX, for example

Not that i don't like the 90, just curious.
From what i found they go for cheaper than bmw's

well to say the truth, i didnt even look up any IX's, i was bored at work looking for beaters on the net, and i thought let me try audi 90's and this one came up. it was a great deal! brand new snows, extra set of rims (15" speedlines) and the car is in great shape. Plus I know these cars are great as spoolinS6 has had 2 of these and now has a S6, so i know these cars are great in the winter!

Out of curiousity i just checked kijiji for e30ix, and why are they so insanely priced!??! im glad i got the audi!

I too noticed that iX's are quite pricey. I think it is because it is a bimmer, and people jack up the price just for that

Personally, i think at that age, the car will require service anyway, so you might as well pay a bit less and use the money to fix whatever you need.

+ that audi's interior is so much better than bm's

I dont know how unreliable they are, when I had it saftied, all it needed were sway bar end links in the front, $60 for the pair, and a brake line from the master cylinder to the rear distribution valve, $150, parts and labour. And so far its been great. Oh yeah and it has 306kms! Im thinking of finding a used Audi 20V Turbo set up and throwing it in this thing. anyone know anything about boosting these?
