17,000 km E30 M3 FS in Montreal (pix)
Just stumbled across this car on another forum. It's possibly for sale by a maxbimmer member 'jpropane'.It's 95% original from factory including the tires ! All thats been changed are the steering wheel and new muffler.
Whatta you think it's worth in todays economy ?

E30 M3's sell no less than 16k with approximatly 200kms. If we were to assume every wear and tear km is equivalent and depreciated equally, this car would be worth $188,235.28. Sounds like a bargain if you ask me I'd buy it twice

Something tells me that all the rubber hoses in this car will be toast if they are all original. I bet those 20 year old tires are pretty sweet too.
Gorgeous car but people have no grasp on reality sometimes. $40k jeesh.

I still don't get why people think these cars are worth anything over 12k.
Obviously this is an exception with it's ridiculously low mileage but even then, 40k? C'mon. I say this should be priced around 18-20k with it's mileage. no more, less perhaps, but no more
Just my .02

^ I agree the car looks great but when you figure its age and probably what it needs to get up to snuff 40k is a bit much to put it mildly. 18-20 sounds about right.

You also have to consider how rare these cars are to begin, not as many made as //m's are today. Not as many lefted, and not as many left in good condition, let alone as mint as this. It was the first m3 and has alot of history behind it.
Having said that, I wouldn't pay anywhere near that.......but someone might.

Every time i see these cars i get depressed. I got rid of mine and its been haunting me ever since. If i still had it, i would never ever ever let it go. Chalk another to the stupid things I have done in my life list

Personally I think that car is worth 30K. But seeing how this isn't the best time to be selling a car like that I'd say it's going to be hard to sell. It's nice to know what my car would look like near new. Since I bought my M3 I have seen three, one on the 404 I think, it was white with M strips on the fender, one by Tim Hortons at 403 and Dundas and one two doors down from my house yesterday on the other side of the street, it had white and green writting on the windows.
I wouldn't want a car like that, it's just two much fun to drive that keeping it mint would be hard.

i'm a bit confused by the photos...the car is on a trailer with ON plates. and it appears that the car is photographed at a dealer. is it being stored there?
anyhow...sweet car but it's definitely too rich for me.
