After some mayhem at Shanonnville. After about 45 mins into the day I already had to change the tire shown bellow lol.
I got about a good hour and a half of drifting today with a good Tandem with DMCC driver Vlad Crown (hopefully pics or vids will be up soon). Crazy, we were getting really close. So close his tire shavings were shooting into my face.
Then soon after pitting I got an earfull from the marshall that us ametures shouldn't be tandeming that close
Then soon after that trouble came.
Picture this, turn 4 (i think?) on Nelson a fast left hand carousel entering at the top of 3rd gear . Flicked it in and holding an opposite lock drift. You can imagine how fast this is. Then all of a sudden you try to straighten the car and no matter where you turn your wheel it keeps going sideways into the grass. ****! My inner balljoint snapped! Bent the tie rod and mashed the fender in with the wheel. Balls.
Journey'd back to Port Perry and picked up a new Control arm. Flew back and replaced it just so the car can make it home.
