Would dirty throttle body cause abs/asc+t light?

The dme code said throttle body faulty, right front speed sensor... and my traction and abs light is still on... what else might cause the abs/asc+t light goes on? thanks

Its the cable on the trottle body, you have to adjust it (its probably too loose)

Thanks PP1, Can I do the adjustment myself? and Can this problem cause my abs/asc+T light on? and by the way your HID rocks so far I love it. Hopefully it will get through the winter with no problem. haha

Hey man. Yes, you can adjust it yourself. Its easiest if you have someone next to you when you're doing it. When you start the car, the ASC throttle body opens and closes right when you start it. If it detects a problem with the tension of the wire on startup, it will throw the asc+T light. (light on=system off).

You can tighten the little plastic knob on the trottle body cable (the ASC+T throttle body is the one on the very top, the most accessible one).

Try tightening it a bit (its unlikely that is too tight, more likely that its not tight enough).

Alternatively, does your asc+t light come on RIGHT away (instantly when you start the car?) Or does it come on only after a few seconds.

If it comes on after a few seconds, leave ASC+T on, and try to do a burnout before the light turns on (seriously). If you do a burnout right away, does ASC+T engage?

The Asc+T light came on when I turn my key into ignition on (all the warning lights came on ) and then start the engine and the rest warning lights go off but abs and ASC+T still on.. And I don't think I have traction.

Ok. Check the cable like i said (dont bother doing a burnout, your asc isn't turning on).

If that doesn't fix it, remove the throttle body (not hard) and clean the inside (there's a gold flap thing, clean and lube the very top and bottom of the pivot points on it.
