Camshaft Sensor

I got a check engine light on couple days ago so I scaned it and it came up with P0340 Camshaft intake sensor.
Has any one changed one on a 02 M3 how hard is it I know its in the back of the head by the firewall. I'm just curious if anyone has changed it trying to decide to do it now or when summer gets here because I will be storing the car for winter soon.
Thanks in advance
