Haha, I'm actually ready for plugs and filters too. We could do a 540 tuneup day

If you want to use my ramps for the oil change, you're welcome to come on over.

If you can get your car in the air high enough for an oil change using only ramps, your car is not low enough.

in. Can't make it tonight though. Tomorrow pre MM? I'd love to go over the car with someone who's familiar with. There's some weird VANOS noise at start up and a weird ticking now. I'm getting paranoid after reading so much about the car....

Sounds good to me. You'll have to supply a couple of empty jugs for the used oil though, I only have a couple left.

Got that covered.

I'll hit you up with a PM for your address/cell. If you dig up that taillight, we can do that too!

Remember when you were looking I PMed you that it would be on the market about now. There was no way I could have sold it in August. Sorry.

Oh, I knew it was your car when I saw it...

I had to pull the trigger when I did. My E36 was gone and the beater needed $1500 worth of work. Shoulda, coulda...

Good luck with the sale!

I've been reading about E39s now, and V8s after 99+ seem to have a common problem with chain tensioner and the guide rails (plastic deteriorating).

Def. look into that, and change them! Way cheaper than a motor, especially with the prices that junkyard in Alymers wants.
