Yeah, Killer wheel, but I think it would only fit (looks wise) in a handful of cars. First one that comes to mind would be a 3.0CS....which someone should get by the way

Looks like it has some kind of a body kit too... not sure if that's factory or what. I like it though.

Some interesting wheels. I don't think I've ever seen this type before. Look like they might even be real 2 or 3 piece?

EDIT: Found it. 2-piece style 29s. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...00&hg=36&fg=15

Do want.

I'm contemplating buying them for my E30 to use with adapters or a 5-lug swap. Not that I have any money to buy them with, lol.

Could look something like this (excuse my poor photoshop skills):

You E36 or E46 guys should be all over this:

Best factory rims ever, imo.

If you're going 5lug or adapter on an e30 why not go with style 5's or DSII's they both can be had for around the same price and are some of the nicest wheels to ever grace an e30.

Beacuse I don't like DSII's and Style 5's are too low offset to work with adapters unless you roll the shit out of your fenders (which I am still considering).

Style 5's are actually my dream wheel for the E30, but the only way to make them fit properly, AFAIK, is an E30 M3 suspension swap.

Those are alright I guess but I still like the 17" Style 29's better.

Style 5's are the real goal but very unlikely.

You could luck into some E36 Style 5's, but you'd pay through the nose for them.

The DSII's are a pretty good wheel, not just looks wise, but strength / weight for a factory rim, from what I understand. I think they look totally 100% bad-ass. Its a completely different look from style 5s.

DSII = I will eat you.
Style 5 = I will take you out to a nice dinner.

I'll agree with those points. I like the 17" style 29's posted earlier because they seem like a good compromise between the two. Polish-able lips, 2-piece construction, reasonably light weight (19 lb I think).

So I guess they would be... I will take you out to a nice dinner in which you are the main course.

I prefer the style 5's to DSII's. But I really don't think you can go wrong with either.

Personally I don't think you can beat the look of a nicely finished, polished lip style 5. With Gold, or Nogaro centers.

I totally agree... and if there was some way to get Style 5's on my E30 without spending ~2k on E30 M3 suspension, I would do it. I just don't think there is.

There are 4-lug BBS RS wheels out there, though decent ones go for about $2.5k in 16" (you can get 15" for half that). Lighter than style 5s as well. If you're keen on 17s you don't have many options.

Here's a set of nearly pristine 15"
