What are the Best Lighting Options - '04 325Xi Touring

I have a stock 2004 E46 325Xi Touring / Face-lift model with small halogen foglights in bumper / Orient blue metallic with black leather / Brushed aluminum dash trim.
It has the stock amber front corner and side lights, and amber, red and white rear tail lights.

Q1. Which do you think would be the better upgrade for this car colour - clear corners and sides OR all smoked ones?

Q2. I have also seen all red rear tail lights - what would be the best for front and sides with this option?

Q3. Are the rear lights different for a sedan, coupe and touring??

Q4. Where is a good place to get some of these upgrades?

I figured that there would be some E46 aficionados on this forum.

1 i'd go clear not smoked. clean look. and you could always use some tint film if you really have the desire
2 all red tails dont look good in my opinion
3 yes they are different
4 asptuning(sponsor on this site) and bimmian are canadian companies


oh and theres depo and oem(bmw) to choose from, depo's are better quality these days but for example, many people have had to alter their depo side markers to get them to fit, had water leak in, etc. the safe route is to just get oem and spend the extra money which isn't really that bad of a difference.

also get the solaris invisibulbs, so you dont get the egg yolk effect

My corners had clear bulbs in them already so you can check before you change them. Also Ontario law doesn't require amber indicators like some states do.

seriously? never knew that. i thought you at least had to have amber for the front(to distinguish between front lighting)

well I'm no expert on the law and it's really hard to find info but from all my research into the matter lead me to believe that Ontario law allows for either amber or clear.

I could be wrong but I've never had a problem.

Its really personal preference if your going for the suicide look (all black) or if you want to stay OEM but with a clean look (clears)

All red tails usually go OEM clear would be the right idea to go with the all red tails. But again its personal preference.

Yes they are all different. Goodluck finding tails for touring model. Its rare... and infact possibly the hardest to find.

We sell most of your upgrades except for anything in the rear, like rear tails, trunks, etc...
