This is the closest I can get!

1.2 is the F-stop of my lens. Your lens has a max fstop of 3.5.

Nah, I just have a point and shoot Nikon L100. Pretty much it does what I want it to.

First off if your going to take some cloud shots, its all about exposure and ISO. Too much of either, and you will have burning/ washing where the sun is brightest (like in the shot you commented on). Then, it's just angle and perspective. Tada, you have a cloud shot.

Took this one in Sarnia a few weeks ago. We get some pretty good weather 'round these parts, which makes for good photos.

Canadian Coast Guard Reserve. Taken from The Duke D' Orleans II while on a cruise on the St. Clair River in Sarnia.
This was actually fairly difficult to get a good shot, as the boat was rolling and pitching while sailing. The water
at the mouth of the river and Lake is very unstable, with small whirlpools, and very strong undertows. You can see in the
photo, that the water looks smooth in spots, that indicates that there is a strong undertow there.

Windsor Firefit Competition 2010.

Trevor Mitchell of Sarnia Fire Rescue opens the nozzle during the Hose Advance. The competitor mus pick up 1" 3/4
hand line, and advance 75'. Oce the competitor cross the 75' line, they must open the nozzle to it a target
through a simulated door way. The hose weighs about 45lbs empty, and once the hose is charged, it gets more
and more heavy as the competitor runs the 75'. By the end, it weighs about 100lbs.
