Ah so that was you. Are the tints REALLY that dark, even in broad daylight!?
BTW your car looked amazing, I was checking it out as you pulled into the lot.  One of my close friend's is modding his Mazda3 hatch, too. I might PM you for some leads on mods for those cars.

would be better to use a fender roller to clear those tires, grab the lastest copy of 0-60 they have an article on doing it in there

They're already rolled. The E46 doesn't have as much give as the E36, the most you can get out of a roll is this (sideview):

Nothing you can do about the bottom horizontal edge except cut it out.

The MVR's are unique and look badass. Can't say I've ever seen another e46 with those wheels on.
