Disable Daytime running lights -Canadian car
Does anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights on a 325i '06. I looked throught the menu but I can't find anything I also called the dealer and they can't do it. This is a canadian car.
I want to make the angels the day-time-running. I have the mods to do it.

Won't be able too, DRL's are a law in Canada. You'd need it to be switched to U.S spec.

Go to dealer and try to get them turned off, if they wont go across to US and get them to turn off.
I run only AE's in the evenings, look way better with my AIB v3 upgrades as well.

why does the canadian coupe have only the angel eyes as a DRL and not the 4 doors ?
i saw a lot of e92 that only have AE during the day.. but no sedan..
why :-(

angel eyes on the E92 are considerably brighter than the pre facelift E90. They're bright enough that they are considered daytime running lights.

GT1 or Autologic tool should do it. but i don't believe the pre-facelift e90's are able to after that.
unless someone can prove me wrong. if so pm me where you did it cause my dad want's his done on his 07 328i.

It is possible to do pre-lci and lci dRL delete, corner amber delete through coding also.

My friends father is bringing his US-spec e90 to Canada and needs to activate daytime running lights. Is there a way to do this outside from the dealer? (dealer quoting him 1k$)

The 2008 and 2008 pre-lci is able to run angel eyes as DRL, coding must be needed to be done however.

There should be a toggle in the dash settings that can activate the day time running lights.
