Wanted: E30 Gear Shift Boot Frame

I just bought an new leather gear shift boot and now realize that I need to attach it to a frame. I'd prefer not to detach the frame from my current vinyl one incase I butcher it up.

I do not care for the condition of the boot cover itself as I will only need the frame. The frame (plastic) I want shouldn't be cracked or broken in any way.

Hey Meth ...I've never seen what you are looking for, but, can you make a template from your old one to make a new one out of metal or plxiglass.....just a thought...Bill

It's just the little plastic frame that attaches the vinyl or leather gear shift boot to the centre console – all manual transmission cars have them.

The pic outlines the part – the boot is typically glued or mended to the frame part.

Thanks for offering to custom manufacture – I will keep you in mind if I ever need something made.
