540i New Headlights

What do you guys think of these? Or are they just a POS? I mean rings alone cost 99.00 the cheapest I've seen plus shipping. These full headlights with rings are 129.00 (please don't worry about shipping, I would be getting them shipped to my uncles in the states)

The first one looks amazing, makes me wanna get a pair, but $129 seems to good to be true! But they do look wicked.

Stay away from the second set, just a personal choice. I hate the chrome backing especially on the BMWs. I have seen some and it just makes the car look cheap.

First ones look descent, look exactly like OEM. Second ones look like crap

First one looks nice. It will be a big facelift. The rings look LED lit. I doubt it will be as bright as it seems in the pic. The projector lens looks funny. Cheap though, even with $50 shipping.

If I wasn't in a facelift model, I'd try it.

...For the 2001 model year, BMW updated the E39 with newer, clear-lens tail, side marker, and headlights which first displayed the now-popular "angel eyes." Rear tail lights were changed to LEDs (Hella, the OEM, refers to these lights as "CELIS"), while the side and rear turn signals were changed from amber lenses to clear. The black trim was now painted to match the body color, and the front bumper now featured rounded fog lights. Internally many changes were made to electronics; items such as window regulators and the air conditioning were updated. The 528i was replaced by the 530i which had a new 168 kW (225 hp) M54B30 3.0 L inline-6. A new entry-level 525i was introduced featuring a 137 kW (184 hp) M54B25 2.5 L I6 and a slightly lower price. The available navigation system was changed to a wide screen version.

Just the lens? Well, what does everyone think about just switching the factory 4300K and getting a 8000K bulb? DS2 of course.

It will give you more ricer look~

Stay with 4300K, or upgrade your ballast to 55W.

Colored headlight will only for show and reduce the output a lot. Do whatever you like, lol.
