Not completely, I've always wanted the digital but had no real reason to make the switch, that is until I had a heater core leak! So at that point if you gonna replace, why not get a little upgrade.

It cost me $250 for the parts. All you need basically is the complete heater core system from a digital climate system, then controls and the main vents.
The whole project is really plug n play. That is once you have the dash and coolant outta the way lol

It has it's share of problems. Sometimes the Final Stage Unit Fails, but it's not costly to replace and not frequent. Aside from that, the only other potential problems are with the controls. But if you know what your doing, these are easy to overcome.
