G2 Tomorrow

I'm finally going for my G2 tomorrow (Feb. 10). In my mom's minivan..I mean pimpmobile. I'm going to practice parallel parking all weekend, just in case they ask me to do it. I've done it before, but it was quite annoying trying to judge where the ass end was becasue it is so damn big.

I think that if I can parallel park a p-up truck, honda cr-v, and caprice classic, then I think I can do a van.

i don't think you can use ur mom minivan err...i mean pimpmobile because it has to have the emergency brake in the center console and not by your left foot. i think make sure you don't get an asshole and make sure to come to a complete stop and look both ways at stop signs and check your blind spots good luck

Good luck... and remember,,, don't do ANYTHING... the test guy has to give you instructions of what to do WELL ahead of time...basically do only the stuff he says.. no changing lanes..unless he says...

they will definately have you do parallel parking on your G2 test. make sure you practice some of that downhill, uphill, emergency parking, lane changes.. and yeah practice reverse parking which is the last one your going to do on the test.

I believe there is no G1 road test. It's written or a computer test. The G2 and G has the road tests.

For my full license just the parking I had to do :
Parellel parking from 2 sides + observations
hallway parking from 2 sides + observations
3 point turn + observations
all around car, car inspection
incar insopection
Slope pullaways
all these include handbrake up every time You stop.
And if the car rolls back during anytime of the test , You fail baby
then came to road wich i am not going to type, I think I got neck spasm from looking at all my blindspots.
but I now finally have my FULL LICENSE.

I did my G test in a Toyota Sienna and flunked it...lol...I also got my speeding ticket in it...so vans are bad luck to me.

But then again...I was driving the Sienna like I had the "Right of Weight"...which I FRIGGIN DID...but the examiners are too used to little Civ's and Corollas...they don't understand the concept behind "Right of Weight".

Remember that you know how to drive...you've been doing that since you got your G1...the only reason they will fail you is over your bad driving habits...

eg.

1 hand on steering wheel
No parking brake (automatic cars) for parking
Speeding
No signal

Just simple stuff like that...

BTW...for both my G2 and G test, I had to do no forms of parallel or even regular stall parking.

Does anyone know what kind of things you must have on the vehicle you are goung to use? I can't find it on the MTO website. I know you must have working lights, horn, and no cracks in windshield but I can't think of others.

And do you need to bring the registration of the vehicle?
