With 2 solobaric L7 12", how much Watts (RMS) do I need to run them ?

I want to upgrade my ICE with 2 solobaric L7 of 12 inches and a kicker amp.

Those subs are rated 750w (rms) each, does that mean that I need 1500 w (rms) to run both of them ? Will I need a capacitor ?

What kind of box would be better, sealed or ported ?

And what is the difference between 2 ohms and 4 ohms ? What is the best ?

BTW: Before I had a BOSS amp (400w mono) with 2 jl audio W1 12" in a sealed box.

1000 watts should do the job nicely.. And from what I understand the solo's prefer a ported box but then again i'm not a big fan of thoes subs, id take the previous version anyday.

the L7 is a bad design? I thought Kicker won all kinds of championships with those subs?

Go with the kicker amp for 1000watts, My friend has a non current one running his 2 12" eclipse's. I think it is called the Kicker 360.
