I did hear that these types of collisions take place naturally in our enviorment. Also the micro black holes are supposed to disengrate in fractions of seconds.....lets hope hawking is right!

I read on topics I find interesting, this happens to be one of them. And my interest has led me into reading about all the ancillary theories, techs, etc.

Since all scientific knowledge is based on best guesses, it will be nice to have some factual evidence to either a)back it up or b)tell us we were wrong(the more interesting option).

If we(Mankind) can get this far in technology with only really guessing, then there is a very large technical evolution that is about to occur, more so if we have been wrong, and I can't wait to see what happens.

Hasn't anyone else ever wanted to know why we are here?

Thats easy, your life is based on the collection of other people's lives and events, which you perceive as the world, otherwise know as, the matrix.

Mankind landed on the moon with the equivalent computer power of a current cell phone.

Think about THAT.

A)

This shizzat wont work. Its VERY VERY VERY unlikely that everything will go perfect. If you understand how they built this/what the problems are/etc, its likely you'd also assume it isn't going to work. The reason for this is because you're basically trying to shoot a target the size of a pea on the moon from your lawn chair on your porch.

B)
Discovery channel has an absolutly amazing program about this. I very strongly suggest you watch.

C) i'm patenting anti-matter.

A) Its worked for other particle accelerators. Considering the people working on this that they won't have an issue with accuracy.

Do you know how electromagnets work? The energy used to power the magnets is constant throughout the system(only changes depending on the stage the particles are in). With electro-magnets if a steady amperage is sent through it will create a constant magnetic field so there is no way to miss as both the particle streams are centered by the electro magnets. Considering they spent 10 billion on this experiment I would hope accuracy would not be an issue.

They are using more than one particle for each stream.

B) I was looking for this last night, link?

C) Don't think you can patent elements or things that by definition don't exist in real space. you could patent the technology to capture/retain antimatter just not the antimatter itself.
