Drive it until it blows, then swap another m30 in there.

What other choice do you have? Valve swap wouldn't be worth the price.

My 525i 90 has been acting up too.

Had to get front subframe & new rims after i ate a curb.. a day later my rad leaked out... found out today from my mechanic i need a new furnis and clutch fan.. plus i was do for an oil change at 257k im at 255 but half of my oils on my driveway.

It's up to you tho if you wanna commit your self to restoring the car.. or moving on... I love my bmw.. i bought it for 1800.00 and I've alredy sank 3 g's into whats the point of giving up now?...

Frogot to mention that the E34 525i isen't an M30 it's an M20 2.5 V6 ... and i found one on ebay in NY for 400.00
If you try to go to a scrap yard they might rape you..
