How to Increase Horse Power?

This goes out to anyone, what can you do to increase some performance power? So far I tired cleaning out the filter, is there anything else? Not looking at major things like replacing parts or adding on the BMW? Looking for minor things that can increase pick up as well...on a automatic....Please advise...thanks

im not too good at these things but i would assume better spark plugs, better fuel, better oil (royal purple)<-- shit works, but iunno if on beemers. Those are minor things. But if you wanna go a bit more then, Exhaust, Chip, C/A Intake. Iunno thats what i think.

Instead of replacing parts with peformance parts, just go ahead and take out everything you dont need so the car is light and go zoom zoom with the lessened weight

Trade up to an "M" car j/k

I have a 330ci and it doesnt feel as fast as I thought it would be, I had a 1.8T Jetta before and it was a noticeable jump in power but nothing revolutionary.

therefore, I won't bother modding my car cuz I know I wont get much, it already has a K&N panel filter so atleast it sounds nice when you step on it.

you can get in trouble even in a Geo Metro if you want.

I'll wait a couple of years and jump up to LSB M3 one day

for e46's, i think weight reduction is whats needed. lighter exhaust, lighter rad, lighter seats, lighter trunk, etc. e46 m3 exhaust is 55 lbs.
save your money on all the small stuff and just go forced induction. you'd just have to replace that stuff later on.
oh, and do a drivers training course and some track days. it'll make you faster.

I always made fun of Honda's this way, because I always hear their screaming exhaust's and I usually stick my head out and try to see what kind of car it is, after a minute of looking (hard to spot them right away, read on..) I always find a honda that is loud but slow, you can definitelly hear someone speeding but you don't see any movement in the traffic nearby ! hahah

Sometimes its better to "look and sound" quiet and fast than loud and slow !

EDIT: that's my take on exhaust, intake on the other hand is a different story.
