Wheels Direct is again throwing it's 4th Block Party in order to fundraise for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society on a lazy chill out Sunday on August 24th. THIS IS A FREE SPECTATOR event so come on through and chill with us as we celebrate the hottest rides in 2008 and entertain you.

ATTENTION ALL TUNERS AND CAR COMPETITORS
“Hype Energy Drink Presents Wheels Direct Block Party 2008” on Sunday August 24th will be a Mild & Wild Show and Shine Competition!
Roll in cut off time will be 12NOON sharp for guaranteed complete judging day of show, not one minute later.
There will be a 250 car competitor cap due to space and judging time.
A $10 discount will be applied to those that arrive prior to 9am and line up in the queue.
No cars will be rolled in prior to 10am, but rather placed in queue. Competitors number on the queue upon roll in will determine what hourly time frame they will be judged during the course of the show.
The overall judge will be stationed at the registration booth from 9am - 12noon to determine Mild or Wild status of each competitor.
Each vehicle will receive a Show Card. Stapled to each show card will be a judging criteria for each component for their review. Each competitor is to initial each criteria sheet prior to their vehicle being judged in person stating that they have read and understood the criteria and what is required of them for their time with the judging panel.
Each competitor will have 2 minutes with the judging panel to judge their vehicle.
This is how the judging time frames will be broken down.
- SECTION 1 (50 cars) 10AM - 1115AM
- 10 minute break 1115PM - 1125AM
- SECTION 2 (50 cars) 1125AM - 1240PM
- 10 minute break 1240PM - 1250PM
- SECTION 3 (50 cars) 1250PM - 205PM
- 10 minute break 205 - 215PM
- SECTION 4 (50 cars) 215PM - 330PM
- 10 minute break 330PM - 340PM
- SECTION 5 (50 cars) 340PM - 455PM
- FINAL TABULATION 500PM - 600PM
- AWARD CEREMONY 600PM
