Procedure:
Wash
Clay
Wash
Menzerna Super Intensive Polish w/LC Oranage pad
Menzerna Final Polish w/LC White pad
Wash
Meguiars NXT (Didn't have time to wait for my Wolfgant sealant to dry)


After the first wash, it looked good, but up close there were a tonne of swirl marks.







Len had already rinsed the engine bay down with degreaser, just needed some dressing (303 Aerospace Protectant)



The dealer decided it was a good idea to cover the entire interior with armorall. At this pt Len had already gone though the entire interior trying to remove most of it


Here it is all done.

Looks like someone attempted to wetsand this odd touch up paint procedure


Got the haze out, but that paint needs to be sanded down (another time perhaps)




All done. Sorry for the dark pic, but we didn't finish till late. Hopefull Len can post some pics of it in the underground garage.

I think BMW started using ceramic clear coats with his car. I was using a pretty strong polish, but it still was hard to get the really deep scratches out. My E39 didn't have the same problem. They must have started using the ceramic on models released around 2001. your E36 won't have that problem either.
