Newest Addition to the family... (56K warning lots of pics)

Hey All,

Well, back in May I decided to sell my E46 Phoenix Yellow M3 cause the wife said it was time to get into a more 'family oriented' vehicle. After days & weeks of debate, I got myself into a SUV...that didn't last long as I felt a special type of kinship to the ///M so after another meeting with the wife...well I got me another ///M (yes guys a little convincing & dinner goes a long way...LOL)

Since the weather's starting to clear up and it finally feels like we're gonna get a few good days, I decided to bring the ///M3 out and do a mini photo shoot with it's new make over. I picked it up a few months back (bone stock) & now I've added a bit of my own personality to it. This project will be hopefully be my last (what a joke...) I'm going for the clean + stealth look.

OK the car is SEXY... but admit two things to me:
1) besides the dinner your wife only let you get this car because its a cabrio (chicks dig convertibles)
2) the Phoenix Yellow m3 you had was a better car (coupe > cabrio)

First off thanks for the kind words...Now here is my personal feelings on the difference having owned both the coupe and now the cabrio...

If you are looking for a stiffer, more rigid, firm handling/ride the coupe is hands down the winner...With a roof it's surprisingly provides a world of a difference when it comes to the drive/feel of the car... to sum it up, car just feels quicker and more responsive...and handles tighter...

Now with that said, however, the coupe is not too shabby and not to far away from it's coupe counterpart, don't get me wrong the car handles like an 'M' should but with the added weight, minus the roof you feel the difference.... Now that I've owned a cabrio it's going to be hard to go back to coupes because I'll tell you this right now, nothing is more enjoyable/relaxing/pimping/sense of freedom, than to drop the top, and see the sky and have '0' blind spots!!!

PS. The wife hates the cabrio because she says she can't have a good hair day even with my wind screen deflector!!! LOL ...Ah well, at least I don't have that problem!!!

One more thing... whats with the "Police Interceptor" badge on the passenger side right below the glove box?

Very nice ride. I see some minor swirl marks that you can take out, but very nice ride nonetheless.

low_bmw - I totally agree with your choices...I actually was thinking about
the Alpine white; on any interior cause the car is hot, but they are
rare to come across, and most are US vehicles & I'm not 100%
comfortable buying one that I can't check the history on inside
out. I was going to pick up a set of aftermarket wheels, but I just l
love the stock OEM Style #67's IMO best looking M3 rim...I've
always liked your previous cabrios too...good taste.
