wheel hop is due to soft motor/tranny mounts

the hop here is created due to the immense torque generated that is TWISTING the chassis in the direction of which the driveshaft is spinning

but DAMN. that was intense. I couldnt imagine how much weight they are pulling. Let alone the modded power to do so.

don't know much about truck motors so i looked them up.
i'm assuming this is a normal motor you see in those huge frieghtliners. these specs are for the detroit diesel 15 motor:
inline 6 cylinder
14.8L
18.4:1 compression ratio
weighs in at 2970lbs
peak horsepower is 455hp @ 1800rpm
peek torque is 1550lb-ft @ 1200rpm and 1328lbs-ft @ 1800rpm
redline looks to be 1900rpm.

Anything Detroit sucks. Can't say I'd do that to a truck I owned, I'm surprised they didn't leave a driveshaft behind.

FYI, a fully loaded super b train (what they were pulling in the first two videos) has about 110,000 lbs PAYLOAD.
