All thats different is the rear lights, and they look like shit. So BMW has killed that car in less then a year.

I agree. Its a tiny improvement, but not much of one. I still haven't found many people who like those tails.

Car hardly changed... but it's still not right. Someone needs to hit the undo button on that ass end.

those are the base 18s. the optional 19s are nothing special either. With M6 rims this car looks cool.
I like the lights, they are an improvement. I also read that the power bulge on the hood is more pronounced with the face lift and that the kidney grills surround has been updated, maybe just on the coupe?
Up front, the bulging hood is more pronounced and the twin-kidney grill pops out a bit more to give it more distinction from the bumper. Down below, some of the sharp edges below the chin spoiler seem to have been smoothed out so they draw less attention from the nose. Around the side, the existing crease running from the side vent in front of the passenger door to the taillights gets sharper and harder, while the rear fenders seem to bulge just a little more over the wheels to make the rear look a little more aggressive. Out back, it looks like BMW has also toned down some of the sharp edges around the rear diffuser and given the lip spoiler on the trunk just a little more meat.

WHAT?!!!
M series never get face lifted...ever
Ms come out mid model cycle usually one year ahead when the normal cars get face-lifted...then M would last without facelift until the next new model
