It's not the paint, but the wetsanding that made it look so good
well technically the wetsanding made it look like it did in the first picture
It was the compounding and polish that made it look good after the newly applied clear coat(probably several good coats) was wetsanded down to smooth out any orange peel.
Wetsanding alone wont give u those results, you need a good base to start from, and a decent amount of cleatcoat on the car before you can start wetsanding.
It's the wetsanding that's giving it that wet look. Because there's so little orange peel the car looks so smooth. Compounding and polish are just the final steps
as mentioned the above, good solid ground is essential to actually apply wetanding technique. If the 20 year old car is covered with scratches and all but with good amount of clearcoat and no defects went through the clear, then it could be theoretically sanded down and polished to a perfection like new paints.

This car too has received a complete repaint.The message is written by the owner.He writes, that total work time 12 hours ,wetsanding took about 5 hours. Then polishing/compounding, no LSP was used.There is no description of products.It is interesting, what gives such shine?
