You could try it but I think it would be almost impossible to wire up. It would be easier to do an E36 M3 engine conversion. Many people have done that one.....

Well, what Im doing is I am going for the stock M3 straight line killer. It will take a long time b4 Im done but eventually I will get there. There is no shame in having a nice and fast 328

dobrock: unfortunately in north america we dont even have 6 throttle bodies like the m3 would overseas so we couldn't ever use a nice airbox like that

alan: sell your car and buy an m3 if you want go faster, or buy into a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous kit.

or you can spend the same ammount on simple boltons (intake, exhaust, headers, chip, cams, flywheel, etc) but the gains wont be anywhere near as much.

it all depends on how fast you want to go =)

Maybe spend it on driving school / autocross / track days, get the most out of what you already have, and you'll probably have ridiculous amounts of fun.

On the 'go fast' parts I agree with djcontra - just save up and get an M3, get a turbo, supercharger, or nitrous.

ESStuning has a 7psi supercharger that will bump your car to 291hp. Of course it costs 4800 euros. Korman has a turbo kit that bumps you to 265hp, but I'm not sure how much it costs.

ZEX nitrous is about US$600. Quoting directly from the catalogue, you can have up to a 75hp boost.

this is true. if u want speed don't bother with all the bolt ons just save up and buy a s/c or t/c right away. cuz all the little stuff will cost you in the end the same but will not be even close to a s/c.

i wasted my money on a shark injector and after that i said i'm not gonna bother with any engine mods anymore. i'll just wait till it blows and get 3.2L
