No way. Before I got my E90, everything I read and everyone I asked told me not to get active steering- but it was being sold as a safety feature and my parents wanted it, so I got it knowing it was the wrong decision. It was so unpopular the dealer didn't even have an AS equipped tester.

On delivery day, driving for the first time, when I turned the wheel to exit the dealer- the car responded- and I was immediately converted. The response was so fast and direct it was amazing. It makes the car feel so much nimbler. AS is the most important option to get after the sport package on the E90.

I've autocrossed the car too and I can say that AS equipped cars should be bumped up one class for having an unfair advantage.

i love it! i like everything about it, kidneys being an exception. i like the tail lights too.

besides, if i was shopping for a 7 series/ s class/ audi a8/ etc type car, i wouldnt care as much about the looks as i would care about the features it has.

it looks good to me now. i remeber how much i thought the e65 was ugly when it first came out, but it has grown on me. besides pictures suck balls. i think this car will def have a presence on the road when it is seen in real life.

I'm liking the new design, and if anyone read the full review than the technology on this thing is ground breaking.

ok so before they didnt have Idrive and everything was done with buttons... Then they introduced Idrive + not so many buttons to control things in order to simplify everything. But now.... It has and I DRIVE and Zillion buttons on top of that haha I find it interesting. I bet pretty much everything can be done by voice too tho.

I like it overall... The rear lights are somewhat wierd... but have to see it in person... overall I think its a nice step.

p.s did you guys noticed that BMW also rotated control panel toward the driver as it was in earlier cars! I like that.

that's cuz iDrive = fail.

From some angles I like the front. But I don't like those rear tails, I guess I'll get used to it.

I Like the rear of the car very much. I just don't like the fact that it reminds me of a Lexus

That's because the rear of the Lexus was very successful design.

It's a good base to start from.

I also have a feeling the front will have a lot of presence on the road.
