To tell you the truth, this is actually making me like the E65 a lot more. It may not be the most attractive car in the world but it's different and next to this, it's downright cool.

Interior looks sick, wish they left the shifter up by the wheel to clear up the center.

Nice Lexus though. Least they de-bangled the trunk.
It's normal. We live in a very fake world where BMW sold its ass to those that buy cars for the status. Now they have to make a car to look good for those that buy it for status, and for those that appreciate what it is. That can not be done. Why they can not have some sick sharp lines and why it all has to be curvey?

If bmw only made cars for the enthusiasts, we'd all still be driving E30 M3's and BMW would be out of business.

I gotta say I'm really impressed with this car and borderline in love.

Check out the photoshop job above to see what it looks like with a simple bumper change (credits: stolen from 7post) and some other pshops done in this thread: http://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154008

^^ looks better, but I'm still not in love with it.

Hahaha.... those photos on the first page keep changing. Now there are a bunch of concept drawings and so on... I wonder how long before a shot of a Lexus makes it in there and no one notices... lol.

I like it, the days of BMW (and other manufacturers) building automobiles like the e34 M5, Mid 90's Audi RS4's, Benz W124, 95-2K Volvo's are gone. Now all these new cars are oval shapes, etc on wheels. We just gotta get used to it.

They lack the allura of the older cars. IMO/

The new Audis and Mercs look better than any old Audis, Mercs or BMWs. Make no mistake, it's not a trend - it's only the Bavarians ****in up. You can tell they are slowly trying to dig out of the hole. Once you go in a direction as a company that size, you can't just flip-flop overnight. Even without Bangle, they are stuck with the Bangle look - they'll just keep changing it little by little each year until it looks like a normal car again.
