Tuned or tune up?

I know people generally refer to a tuneup when they do the routine maintenance stuff. eg

Oil change, Coolant flush, Spark plugs changed, Tranny fluid changed, Differential fluid... Check Brakes (Rotors and pads) Of course replace if necessary. I think it's pretty much the stuff BMW would refer to in inspeaction II.

Anybody else wanna help me out

Ok "tuned" would usually referring to engine software tuning

"tune up" is usually spark plugs, t/b clean, inj. flush

96 M3.

maintenance, what i'd do for a tune up.

-brake fluid
-oil filter
-air filter
-cabin filter
-fuel filter
-power steering fluid
-washer fluid (duh)
-run fuel injector cleaner through (put in gas tank).

check, replace if necessary:
-brake rotors
-brake pads
-ignition coils
-ignition boots
-exhaust (hangars)

i probably missed some stuff. Look up bmw inspection 1 for your car.
