what coolant should i use??

hey guys this weekend i'm going to end up doing my timming belt and water pump and replacing my rad what coolant is recomended on my 86 325e.. or what coolant should i use and is best...

i just got me the nascar color changing coolant from cnanadian tire
premixed (watered down) of course.

i just did my water pump in my e30 2 weekends ago.
that coolant i used is fine.

I use the green cheapo Autolab crap from Canadian Tire. According to my mechanic, and also from what I have seen, its surprisingly better than the real Blue OEM BMW coolant.

u think its also worth of getting my water pimp for the dealer or should i just get aftermarket...i already have the OEM timming belt got it off a friend for 20$

just make sure you get aluminum impellers and not plastic.

for me, as long as its made in germany its good in my books!

Why dont you just use water and Water wetter from crappy.

Works great, Just change it right before winter.

+1 I used to be on the BMW-only coolant side of the fence but I have no problem using Prestone when I'm in a bind for the BMW shit. I find which crap you use isn't half as important as changing it every 2 years max.

i dont drive the car in the winter, once it hits november or the middle of it, it gets parked indoors till april its never seen salt

I changed it often using 18 wheeler heavy duty coolant (free for me) and have never had any problems.
