it's definetaly a bearing. The front transaxle on my yukon right now is making the same kind of sound, its one of the bearings starting to go.

ya i was beaten the trannie just a tad, now it's crying for something. similar type of noise...
i'm not sure if it s a problem yet. perhaps a few more burn outs, and we ll see.

keep me posted. i might need a clutch disc, or slave work. anyone now where to go for this type of gear..?

me too. bimmer sports is the best place to do repair work....viva bimmer sports....although rpm is awesome too, but it's in bolton....
