Obviously depends on your driving. But my mom's 323i gets over 700km a tank constantly.

that seems too low even with abuse and reckless driving. i drive city only and with 60 L i get at least 600 kms. check oil level and O2 sensor.

Send a message via MSN to StikiGreenZ
02 330 Gas light comes on after 580-600km, with 80km remaining on the display. So roughly 680km if you use up all reserve

I mostly drive my E46 328i.

On the highway, I get a bit under 8.0L per 100k. In the city, it's around 11-12 L/100km.

02 330xi manual, 91 oct

soft city/highway = 735kms full tank
normal city/highway = 660kms full tank
very hard city/highway = 550kms full tank

with cost of fuel now, I mostly drive soft and use some of the hypermiling and pulse driving techniques.

what a difference...

So after reading all the above posts I have been trying hard to watch my gas gauge and drive a little softer, I never realized how agressive I was driving but I am finding it very hard not to try and make every green light, anyways to make a long story short I reached 550km all city on a full tank about 50km more than I have ever seen, I'm not sure if I can drive any slower or even keep this type of driving up for much longer, but thanks for all the info.

"very hard city/highway = 550kms full tank" this is as soft as I can drive I am thinking of changing my fuel filter any tips on the cheapest place to buy the part or any recommendation's on a name brand?

Another good tip for you is to try a tank of Shell 91 instead of the ethanol-packed Sunoco you are using. You should see another 50km from just that.
