what fluid should i use?

hey guys 86 e30 325e what fluid should i use on my clutch peddle, i'm thinking of changing it very soon and where do u top it up because i can't find it anywhere around my engine.... let me know thank you...

the brake fluid resevoir is also the clutch fluid resvoir

DOT 3 break (and clutch, in this case) fluid should be alright

I'm pretty sure DOT 4 is what should be in there (look on the brake master cylinder cap)
