I think there's a hole in the roof, and the bottles are refracting the light from the sun. They don't glow or anything.

but isnt the whole purpose of light bulb or this glowing stuff to work at night? Soooooooo.....I'd suppose it should work without the sun.

he drop a few drops of clorox .. in the water and let it become hot .. it reflect more sunlight .. thats it

people use light bulbs in the day time too, with rooms with no windows, like that lady had.

They are just a very basic type of skylight. The bleach is just added to stop the water from going stagnant and turning cloudy... I can't see how it puts out an electrical charge, unless they're just measuring the solar output...
